Administrative Republic
This article is accurate for the latest versions of EU3, Napoleon’s Ambition, In Nomine, Heir to the Throne and Divine Wind.
A governmental form where the state is governed as a republic relying to a great extent on strict organisation of political matters and bureaucracy. Switzerland and some of the HRE city-states begin with this government, though the title of "Stadtholder" for the leader recalls the Dutch Republic from the 1560s onwards.
