Ak Koyunlu is a small nation in the Middle East and is often conquered by Persia, Ottomans or the Golden Horde. Survival is tough but possible.
Initial security
Ak Koyunlu cannot take on the larger local nations, so will need to wait for an opportunity. The aim is to acquire territory diplomatically or militarily. Look for nations that have been attacked by someone else and dive in with the aim of picking up one or two provinces. With luck the first 50 - 75 years will finish with 10 or so provinces of unified religion.
Audacious expansion
This is where the possible path of the game diverges. Spot the weakest region, Turkey, Caucuses, Persia or Syria and attack. Access to the sea is critical to further expansion, the aim is to sell a Western nation a province and Westernise.
After Westernisation
Troops will need upgrading technology will need to advance but from this point on, expansion is at the discretion of Ak Koyunlu. Carve out a nation in the Middle East and take control of the Silk Road.
