Bavaria has 5 unique missions, which mostly involve conquering neighbouring provinces.

Divine Wind

Friendship with the Hapsburgs

The Wittelsbach and the Hapsburg families have been competition with each other for influence in South Western Germany. However we would have a freer hand if we enjoyed good relations with the Hapsburgs.
Type:

Acquisition conditions: Acquisition chance:
  • Base weight: 1000
    • has relations of less than 0 with Austria: ×2
    • has relations of less than -100 with Austria: ×2
Temporary effects:
  • None

Success conditions:
  • has a royal marriage with Austria.
  • has relations of at least 100 with Austria.
Failure conditions:
  • At least one of the following must be true:
    • is a vassal.
    • is a junior partner in a personal union.
    • is not a monarchy.
    • is at war with Austria.

The Franconian inheritance

The House of Wittelsbach was granted various Franconian lands by the Emperor Henry V. It is time that Bavaria took them.
Type:

Acquisition conditions:
  • is not a vassal.
  • is not a junior partner in a personal union.
  • does not own the province Franken (67).
Acquisition chance: Temporary effects:

Success conditions:
  • owns the province Franken (67).
Failure conditions:
  • At least one of the following must be true:
    • is a vassal.
    • is a junior partner in a personal union.

Claiming the Wittelsbach lands

The Rhine Palatinate rightfully belongs to the house of Wittelsbach. We must ensure that the Bavarian Wettelsbachs are the ones who have it.

  • is not a junior partner in a personal union.
  • does not own the province Pfalz (77).
  • borders the province Pfalz (77).
Acquisition chance: Temporary effects:

Success conditions:
  • owns the province Pfalz (77).

  • At least one of the following must be true:
    • is a vassal.
    • is a junior partner in a personal union.

Conquer Worms

To be the dominant power in South Western Germany we must expand. The lands around Worms should be taken to do this.
Type:
  • Country

Acquisition conditions:
  • is not a vassal.
  • is not a junior partner in a personal union.
  • does not own the province Worms (1761).
  • borders the province Worms (1761).
Acquisition chance: Temporary effects:

Success conditions:
  • owns the province Worms (1761).
Failure conditions:

Drive the Hohenzollerns out

We cannot have any rivals in our own little corner of Germany. The lands of Anschbach legally belong to cadet branch of the Hohenzollern family, we must have them for ourselves.
