Comet Sighted (titled Meteor Sighted before HTTT) is an infamous country event. Because it is a relatively common, negative event and there is nothing you can do about it, Comet Sighted is probably the event that has received the most complaints.
While the event originally had only one option (It's an omen!), Paradox has jokingly included additional options in the IN, HTTT and DW expansions. However, all four options have the same effect.

Comet Sighted
- Peasants are always superstitious, and the appearance of a comet in the sky has caused panic among our people. They are convinced that this is a sign that the end of times is near or that something bad is going to happen in the near future.
