The Domestic Court interface overview for Austria at the start of the War of the League of Cambrai in DW 5.1. All advisors are greyed out as the game views them as just hired.

The Domestic Court interface screen is found on the second tab of the Domestic Management interface. This shows stats about your ruler; including their name, Dynasty, accession date, Administrative, Diplomatic and Military skills. In the smaller box there is information about the current Heir and the strength of their claim. Heirs with a weak claim often succeed to the throne and cause a Pretender to try and claim the throne for themselves.

This screen also shows the current advisors of the court. To replace or recruit new advisors, click on portrait/empty box to get a list of available people. There are many advisors and since Heir to the Throne it has been possible to use the Domestic Culture screen to spend Cultural Tradition to recruit high quality advisors. Each advisor also has a rating, from 1 star to 6 stars. This shows their proficiency at their job. The higher the ranking, the more of the benefit you receive. The AI snatches up good advisors very quickly. Any advisor hired in the last month cannot be replaced and will be greyed out.
