Morocco starts out as a relatively poor country, with Portugal and Castille having missions for conquest of your land.

Key to Surviving
A good starting thing to do is to ally with Tunisia, build up your stability, and declare war on Algiers, giving you more provinces to work with right away, after you built a decent army of course. You probably won't have a casus belli, however you did get more stability, so the -3 won't be as bad. Make sure you lead the siege on most, if not all, of Algiers' provinces in order to prevent Tunisia from obtaining them.
After you get a peace treaty and some more money, build a navy. That's probably the best thing to do against Castille, Portugal, and probably England, but still expect it to be difficult to prevent them from landing troops. Morocco also starts with 3 Free Trade, so that'll help bring more yearly income. By the time any European power declares war, you should be able to hold them off, kill any of their siege units, and get a white peace. If Portugal is ever a war leader, try to take Madeira from them when it's a colony with a 2000 army. Less colonial power for them, and possibly more for you!
Expanding and Colonizing
There are probably 3 different ways to expand as Morocco. The rest of north Africa (you'll probably get that anyway), Naples (they have lower manpower, so a better fight, as long as they're not allied with Milan), or Greece (if Byzantium gets its land back). Either way, not too powerful armies to deal with (especially if you're allied with the Ottomans). Probably after you start colonizing Africa and South America and taking nations in west Africa, you can afford the bigger armies to attack the Mamluks, the rest of Italy, and maybe even start attacking Castille and Portugal if they're not too powerful. If they are, just go to North America and start seizing their colonies, get a white peace, and some more land!
Mid Game
By now, you should have a good portion of Africa, South America, and some of Europe and North America. You should have Westernised and gotten plenty of money from African nations and your new gold mines. Basically now you can do whatever you want! Will you claim all the provinces that were colonized by the Europeans? Will you attack the rest of the Muslims? Or will you get an empire in India?
National Ideas
You start off with National Conscripts, which is sort of useful because of your lower manpower, but it's probably best to switch it later on. A good idea is to go for Quest for the New World, and when you get that, replace your other idea with Colonial Ventures, since you're not making any colonists. Another option is to invade Greece, convert to Orthodoxy with zealots, and live with 0.5 colonists a year. In that case you'll want Unam Sanctum for no stability loss when going to war with Catholics. After those ideas, it's best to go with Military Drill, Land of Opportunity, and whatever else you like.
