A monarch has rated skills in three different abilities: Administrative, diplomatic and military. These skills give a number of bonuses, all scaled according to skill level:

  • +0.12 yearly relations with nations
  • Increases relations change of gifts

MIL

  • Army morale: +0.1/level
  • Navy morale: +0.1/level
  • Monthly Land technology investment: +1/level
  • Monthly Naval technology investment: +1/level
  • Increases effective army tradition for ruler conversion to military leader
