This mod adds a country Vinland in present-day Newfoundland and the surrounding area, with the Norwegian culture. This mod plays with the idea that the expedition of Leif Eriksson did not fail, and a small Viking nation survived in North America.

It was created by Jordi Kroon, and discussion can be found the Paradox forums.

Kroon's mod is no longer available, however, because he lost the data; an attempt to recreate it, with minor changes, is Alternative New World Mod.
